On a Friday in September, Grumman Aerospace Corp. eliminated eighty-two jobs when it closed its Salisbury plant. The following Monday, Harvard Custom Manufacturing, LLC opened for business and now employs three hundred fifty associates.
In a four year period, Filtronic Comtek, Inc., a high-tech manufacturer of microwave components, grew out of our incubator facility with five employees to a new 80,000 square foot headquarters facility with three hundred employees.
We helped MaTech, Inc. turn a former sweet potato warehouse into a state of the art precision machine shop. We also assisted The Order People in renovating a former horse-carriage house into a 1,000 employee telemarketing operation.
