The County Park System consists of 36 parks, which include 15 concession stands, 13 picnic pavilions, 25 playgrounds, 25 basketball courts, 40 tennis courts, and 40 playing fields (15 of which are lighted). Some popular activities are hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, golfing, birdwatching, and swimming. Visitors may enjoy the Delmarva Shorebirds Class A Minor League Baseball, Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, and Salisbury City Park and Zoo.
